NEWS Thursday September 24th, 2009 BattleGroundSanDiego partners with Sky High Comics in San Marcos to host the second Regional Qualifier for San Diego. Victor Cantu, Circuit Commissioner for the BattleGroundSanDiego Tournament Series announced today that Sky Hiigh Comics will be the location of the next Regional Qualifier in San Diego. "Sky High Comics has recently been making a push to build a player base for WOW TCG and we viewed this as a fantastic opportunity to showcase the location and the store's staff, states Victor Cantu, League Commissioner. "From the inception of the league, Sky High Comics has assisted us by placing flyers and business cards and spreading the word, now it is time for us to give back. If this game is going to grow to the heights it once had, with Sneak Peak events of over 100 players, it will take operations like Sky High Comics to get us there." "BattleGroundSanDiego hosted its first Regional Qualifier at Artifex in San Diego. We had 17 players show up, a few new faces to our league, which is great. Artifex was a great host. We look forward to returning there in the future." "This is one of the last Realm Qualifiers of Season 4 and we fully expect those who are on the bubble for the invite to the Championship or those trying to achieve the Battle Ground Master moniker to be there. I know that Corey Burkhart is gunning for the Achievement so we expect to see him there. Robert Woros, John "Patch" Patchell, Noah Tool, Dan Lujan, Michael Okimoto, there will be some really skilled deck builders and flippers at this event. I wouldn't want to miss this one." BattleGroundSanDiego is an independent event tournament organizer located in San Diego, California.
