BattleGroundSanDiego moves into Orange County with its second event

Victor Cantu, Circuit Commissioner for the BattleGroundSanDiego Tournament Series announced today that the circuit will be hosting its next event in Orange County.

"In reaching out to the player base, it was requested of us that we consider moving the events around Southern California in order to continue the growth of the game and the circuit. How could we say no?"

The inaugural event for the circuit was held just shy of two weeks ago on May 24th in San Diego California.

"At the last event, I was able to speak with some great individuals who offered some great ideas to move the events toward a direction of growth and credibility. Let's be honest, this is a very grass roots effort to build this circuit and if we fail to listen intently to the player base we are targeting, we have absolutely no chance to succeed.

With that in mind, we have made the commitment to move our next event into Orange County to make easier the decision of the Los Angeles and Riverside player base who may be interested in the circuit to commit. When you couple that with the great bases in San Diego and Orange Counties, no player in those four regions is more than an hour from the event.

The location for the event will be the Irvine Suites Hotel in Irvine, California.

The event will take place on Sunday, June 21st with registration starting at 10:00am and play beginning at 11:00am.

We have some great prize support for this event, including UDE deckboxes, a Servants of the Betrayer playmat, artist autographed cards and with the release of the Death Knight starter deck we will be including a few of those as well as Blood of Gladiators booster packs."

This second Stomping Ground event will be constructed format with swiss play leading to a final 8 players vying for the Event Champion.
