EVENTS

Take your game from the coffee table to the tournament table.

Events are the prime opportunity for Southern California's World of Warcraft® TCG community to come together for the growth and promotion of the game. Each BattleGroundSanDiego event includes both the constructed and sealed deck formats. On occassion, BattleGroundSanDiego will toss in a non-traditional format to mix the play up a little and keep the events fresh. Stomping Ground Events are the cornerstone of the BattleGroundSanDiego tournament season. These events are single day events and occur twice a month. Stomping Grounds are the main source of the points that are earned towards the BattleGroundSanDiego Cup Series Championship.

Zerg Events occur every three months. As well as being open to the public, the top two finishers of each format from each Stomping Ground are invited compliments of BattleGroundSanDiego to compete. Point pools for the BattleGroundSanDiego Cup Series are doubled and the prize spread is increased as well.

The BattleGroundSanDiego Cup Series Championship is the culmination of the tournament season. The final 2-day event of the season, it is at this event that the Cup Series Championship is handed out as well as the individual awards for tournament play. The top eight players from each format from each Zerg Event are invited compliments of BattleGroundSanDiego to compete along with the general public. Each format is highlighted with its own day of play.

Each of these events will be UDE sanctioned and all matches will count toward both the BattleGroundSanDiego Cup Series as well as having a Challenge Value affecting that players ratings and rankings as stipulated by UDE.

All BattleGroundSanDiego events are sanctioned events and are hosted by UDE certified Tournament Organizers and staffed by UDE certified Judges.

All BattleGroundSanDiego events are governed by the Official Tournament Policy and the WoW TCG Comprehensive Rules set forth by UDE.

Each of these events can be registered for on-line or in person at least 15 minutes before the start of play. Players registering for events on-line will receive a booster pack for doing so.

BattleGroundSanDiego events begin promptly and limit down-time to ensure a well-run, on-time event.
